Summary

The Dodge Viper is the most powerful production car ever put out by Dodge. It was introduced in 1991 as the pace car for the Indianapolis 500 auto race, but wasn't released to the public until 1992. The Dodge Ram SRT-10 is the truck version of the Viper.

History

Dodge first released a Ram pickup with the Viper engine in 2004. It originally was released as a standard cab in manual transmission, but in 2005, an automatic with extended cab was also released.

Seating: The Viper seats 2 passengers in the standard cab and 5 in the quad cab.

Gas Mileage: The Viper gets 9 miles per gallon in the city and 15 miles per gallon on the highway.

Warranty

Dodge offers a bumper-to-bumper warranty for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Outer body rust-through protection extends for 60 months or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
